Affordable, inexpensive or cheap does not mean that we do not know what we are doing. It just means we know that you are in a rough part of life and need every break possible. All of our initial consultations a free and we have filed hundreds and hundreds of bankruptcy cases for residents of the Bay Area. We charge clients a reasonable fee based upon the complexity or amount of work your case requires.
Some bankruptcy attorneys charge all of their Chapter 7 bankruptcy clients $2,000 or more in attorney fees alone. That does not include the filing fee ($306 Ch. 7, $281 Ch. 13) the cost of the required course or a credit report.
Required Courses – Total Cost $12.95 For Both Courses – Do Not Pay $100 Other Law Firms Charge
We encourage potential clients to meet with at least two bankruptcy lawyers. Why you ask? Because once you meet with another attorney you will know exactly why you should retain our services. For some unknown reason the two required courses to file a bankruptcy case and receive a discharge of your debts costs $50 each at other law firms. Why pay over $87 more for something that can cost $12.95 for the same exact thing? Any why are these attorneys referring you to providers of these courses that cost so much when you are already having money problems? The answer is they do not care enough about their clients.
Personal Service for a Reasonable Fee
One of the most important aspects of filing for bankruptcy protection is easy communication with your bankruptcy attorney. That is why you will have our personal emails addresses and we answer our phones the old fashion way, personally. We have heard time and time again about other large law firms not returning calls and basically ignoring their clients. How sad. That is not how we want to be treated so we will not treat you that way. We do our best to return emails the same say and phone messages too. You will not waste your time leaving multiple messages with four different people to get your questions or concerns addressed.
This is a difficult time in your life and we understand that. We really do try and do everything to make this process as pain free as possible. No one really wants to file bankruptcy, but is an honest and legal way to get rid of your debts to move on to a happier and hopefully less stressful life. Bankruptcy can even get rid of an underwater second mortgage or equity line credit. Bankruptcy can allow you to pay less for a vehicle loan. It all depends on your income, expenses and assets.
